Today we wrote a summary of what has happened in the play, "The Diary of Anne Frank" so far.  Students chose a character and wrote the summary through that characters perspective.  Tomorrow we'll chose new roles and begin reading Scene 4.

Today we'll continue to read and analyze the play "Anne Frank's Diary".

Today we'll be taking a tour of the Frank family's secret annex here.  It's an online, interactive tour which will give you a much better understanding and ability to imagine the Frank's quarters while we read the play.  Here is a document with questions you need to answer while taking the tour. Go into the document, copy and paste it into your own google doc, answer the questions and print it out to hand in at the end of the class.

Today as a reward for all the hard work on NHD we'll be watching the movie "Mr. Peabody and Sherman" which coincidentally mirrors a lot the history we've studied in Humanities.  Also, for anyone who wants to compete in the school (and possibly county, state, and national!) NHD competition, please sign up here!

Today we continued to work on our process papers.  NHD papers should be handed in by now and process papers will be due at the end of class tomorrow.

Today we'll continue to edit our NHD papers and perfect our annotated bibliographies.  We'll also be starting our process papers in extended core.  The process paper is just a reflection on the entire NHD experience.  We'll be using the following questions to write the process paper.

Everyone should be finishing up the first draft of their NHD paper and moving on to editing soon.  Here is an NHD self-edit check list which you ALL must do.  Let's try to get going on the annotated bibliographies while it's still fresh in our minds!

In today's class, along with continuing to work on our NHD papers, we'll be specifically looking at how to properly make an annotated bibliography.  We'll be looking at the NHD site for a specific example and and explanation of what an annotated bibliography is.

We'll also be using the acronym TIHO to check that we've give all the info need for our annotated bibliographies.
